STRENGTH TRAINING

Muscle strength and muscle mass is an extremely important and often overlooked aspect of health and fitness. The average person over the age of 25 loses nearly a half a pound of muscle every year. Loss of muscle is an unavoidable part of the aging process. However, the rate at which this loss occurs is affected by our activity level. Muscle is important! It burns calories, it allows you to move; and your joints are only as strong as the muscles that support and stabilize them. Just 15-20 minutes of strength training, three times per week on our Nautilus and Keiser equipment will help you gain back lost muscle and dramatically improve your strength and ability to do the things that are really important to you (like doing your job, playing with your kids or grandkids, working in the garden, and recreating).
