Join S.W.I.M. – South Whidbey Island Masters – as a fun way to improve your fitness. Coach Kristi Eager has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and has been teaching for 15 years and coaching for 10 years.
S.W.I.M. is a workout with a purpose. The workouts meet the needs of both the recreational and competitive swimmer and all abilities are welcome. Throughout the season, the focus will be on aerobic endurance, pacing, and stroke technique. Kristi also has drills for distance, sprints, race strategy and flip turns.
This season will focus on training for a 30 minute swim fitness challenge, 2 pool meets and 1 open water swim. The meets are completely optional for Masters Swim participants and a tremendous amount of fun.
S.W.I.M. is for you if you want to improve your stroke technique, build your swim endurance and enjoy the camaraderie of other swimmers.
